MARKET and Eastpak Drop Convertible Bag Capsule

Following on from its hockey collaboration with the Grateful Dead earlier this year, MARKET has joined forces with Eastpak for a joint range of convertible sports bags.

Marking the latest installment in the duo’s ongoing partnership, this latest line looks to reintroduce their collaborative hero styles alongside several transformative athletics-minded silhouettes. Across the line, MARKET tweaks Eastpak’s signature shapes with packable netted pouch extensions, ideal for securing all sorts of larger objects.

This time around, the Padded Pak’r is again remade in a new bright blue colorway and black and white grid print, alongside a brand-new side bag style. The collection houses the MRKT Basketball Pack, which features MARKET’s netting in the front pouch, where wearers can store basketballs, soccer balls and additional sporting goods. The MRKT Rusher side bag, meanwhile, features a small pouch containing a net that can be clipped to the silhouette for carrying larger items. Rounding out the line, the MRKT Triangle bag boasts an angular facade with a drawstring storage component.

The collection’s campaign, pictured above, features an eclectic talent lineup — including LA Clippers player Terance Mann, runner Kam Casey, Dj Honey, plant expert Nelson ZêPequéno and mother Puno Dostres — that showcases the bags’ versatile uses.

The MARKET x Eastpak collection is now available to shop on both MARKET and Eastpak’s webstores. Prices range from $95 USD to $150 USD. Take a look at the line in the gallery above.
